Tomorrow, February 14th (Valentine’s Day), we will be selling heart shaped balloons at the center section of the cafeteria to help fundraise money for the American Heart Association! The American Heart Association is an organization dedicated in finding treatments for various cardiovascular diseases.
Come grab a balloon for your loved ones, crush, fellow peer, or yourself since you totally deserve it! 😉
The heart shaped balloons will be $1 and worth 5 points each. Max 10 pts!

We will be volunteering at the 19th Annual New York Lunar New Year Firecracker Festival, hosted by better Better China U.S.A, to welcome the new lunar year of the dog! For this event, we will be distributing flags, parading as mascots, and managing booths. We will need 30 members per shift to help out that day! Also, please dress appropriately to the weather (we will be outside).

We will be working with YES!Solutions, Inc for their upcoming Valentines Day Picnic on the Street event, which is an event dedicated to spread positivity to the homeless and those who come from less fortunate backgrounds. For this event, we will need 30 volunteers to help accept contributions, package goodies, decorate eggs and more. In addition, volunteers will be greeting and conversing with the guests on line. Please make sure to dress appropriately as this event is located outside (It is expected to be around 48 degrees this Saturday, so dress accordingly).

We will be holding a fundraiser from January 16th, 2018 - January 19th, 2018 for students who are in need of school supplies. We will be donating all of the school supplies collected this week to various organizations in Chinatown. Please drop off your donations in room 1W8 in the white box that has “H.O.P.E.” written on it. The box will be available starting 2nd period on Tuesday.
