of the sun! Of course, even though it is the summer, volunteering doesn’t stop and you can get a head
start on your hours now. Coney Island Half Marathon needs us to help set up stations ranging from water
stations to baggage check during the event. Please join us if possible!

We are working with New York State of Mind (NYSoM) again for their August Hunger No More event! The NYSoM Hunger No More activity is a monthly homeless outreach program where volunteers pack and distribute meals as a group to the homeless. In this event, we will be packing and distributing care packages (sandwiches, water, and a snack) to the homeless in the Grand Central, Penn Station, and Port Authority area.

Hey guys!
We will be working with the Battery Dance Company for their 36th Annual Battery Dance Festival! For this event we will be in charge of distributing playbills and crowd control.
We will be volunteering on two days: the 13th (8/13/17) and the 18th (8/18/17).
*FOR THE 13TH WE WILL HAVE TWO SHIFTS WHILE ON THE 18TH WE WILL HAVE 1 SHIFT!* You may sign up for both shifts on the 13th.
A shirt and hat will be provided but please make sure to wear sneakers.

Due to the large number of volunteers participating at the Rubin Museum of Art Annual Block Party, the RMA organizers have notified us that unfortunately some groups had to be cut. Therefore, the RMA Annual Block Party Event is CANCELLED.

The Rubin Museum of Art is holding their Annual Block Party and they need 20 people to help out. Volunteers will help out at art and music making activity tables and information tables. Lunch will be provided and volunteers will be given a t-shirt to wear for the event. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes as well because you guys will be on your feet!

The Color Run Tropicolor World Tour will be making a stop in Brooklyn, NY! Known to be the “Happiest 5K on the Planet”, the Color Run is a paint race that helps provide happiness and healthiness by bringing communities together. Some of our tasks include handing out water, revving up the crowd at the finish festival, tossing color, and more!

I H.O.P.E. you're all having a fun summer and that you're ready for our very first event! We will be volunteering for the 35th annual Battery Dance Festival. This festival allows choreographers and local artists to perform and showcase their works to New York audiences.
There will be multiple jobs assigned to the volunteers such as: handing out playbills, controlling the crowd, selling merchandise, setting up tents/chairs, and assisting in other activities. We will need 8 volunteers for each day of the festival.
A free T-shirt, cap, and water will be provided.
