Relay for Life

Hey guys,
The Relay for Life event is this Friday, March 18th from 4 P.M. to 7:15 P.M. in the first floor gym. Entry is a fundraised amount of $10, which gets you a ton of food, two awesome STEP Team performances, and a chance to win prizes. Food is only guaranteed if you fundraise/pay ONLINE. Check out the Facebook event page (link provided below) to find out more about food, entertainment, and prizes! We will be offering 10 points to those who fundraise a minimum of $10 AND attend the Relay for Life event. 


Bring extra cash to throw a pie in a teacher’s face, decorate your own cupcake, and enjoy additional snacks and activities. The goal this year is to raise $20,000, so let’s get to it!

2. Raise $10 or more for entry. Raising $25 will grant you VIP entry and a few perks. You can raise money online through the website or pay at the door on the event day.
3. Attend the event on Friday, March 18th.

Hey guys,
Since not every teacher had a student sign up to help them for the Spring Parent Teacher Conferences, NHS had to rearrange some people to accommodate all the teachers. We apologize to those who had to be reassigned, but every teacher needs a student helper so we hope you can understand the reason for the rearrangements. Please check the links below to confirm who your assigned teacher is for the Spring Parent Teacher Conferences on Thursday and/or Friday.

Syria Awareness Week

This entire week beginning from Monday, March 7th to Friday, March 11th is Syria Awareness Week. In order to raise awareness for the issues currently present in Syria, the Interfaith Dialogue Club has prepared challenges for each day of this week. Attached is an image with the different challenges for each day. You can earn 15 points for participating in all the activities for the remainder of the week (Wednesday, March 9th to Friday, March 11th).

The sign-ups for helping at the Spring Parent Teacher Conferences will close tomorrow, Tuesday, March 8th at 8 P.M. Please make sure to sign up if you would like to help. In addition, we have included the link to the file with the list of teachers and their rooms below. Check and see what room the teacher you're helping will be in so you know where to go after swiping in.

Spring Parent Teacher Conferences Sale

The SPRING PARENT TEACHER CONFERENCES are just around the corner (MARCH 10th and 11th). As usual, we will be selling snack and beverages to raise money for our club, but we can't do it without your help!! Please help by bringing in some snacks and beverages. You can bring in your donations on FRIDAY, MARCH 4TH or MONDAY, MARCH 7TH.  

Here's a list of items and their point conversions:
- Box of Cookies (i.e. Oreos, Chips Ahoy, Chocolate Chip, etc): 10 Points
- 5 Cans of Soda: 5 Points- 5 Bottles of Water: 5 Points- Granola Bars: 3 for 5 Points


*MAXIMUM = 15 POINTS


When you bring in the donations, please put the items in a bag with a piece of paper that has your name, OSIS, and "H.O.P.E." Donations may be brought to room 7C1 where there will be a box labeled "H.O.P.E. Donations" on the shelf across from Mr. Torres' door.
